Hurry Fast!

I finally got my blog back up and plan to post more. I'll be changing things around on it so be sure to come back to see the changes.

I got my idea for this card from the Close to my Heart (CTMH) Season Expressions 1. The minute I seen the card I knew I had to create one for myself. I changed a few things (to make it my own) but for the most part it is the same card.

I used the Heartstring Paper Packet (X7193B), Stuck on You Puffies (Z3037), Junebug Puffies (Z3038) and You're the Bomb stamp set (C1617). I also used Glacier and Black Exclusive Inks and the Cricut (R) Artiste Collection.

You must hurry fast if you want to make this card because the Heartstring Paper Packet, Puffies, and stamp set are only available until March 31, 2015.

Let's Celebrate

Yesterday a guy from work (Pete) retired.  I cannot wait to do the same in 10 years.  The card above is what I made for him.

Happy New Years everyone. My new year's resolution is to scrapbook more in 2013. What is yours? I received this cute calendar for Christmas. This will look great in my office. Thanks Brandi Jo.

Valentine's Cards in December!

On Sunday my children and I made a few Valentines cards and even passed some out! I know crazy right? Why wait until February 14 to let people know you love them! I used a Close to my Heart paper pack called Pear and Partridge which is normally used for Christmas. 

My son and daughter made cards with scrapbook supplies they received from my youngest sister. Once the cards were made they choose people to give them to.

My son choose family and friends to give his cards to. My daughter decided to give her cards to people that needed a little love this time of year.

It was fun to make Valentine's cards and pass them out in December! I would have never thought to do it had my little sister not given me a Random Ats of Christmas Kindness advent kit.

MY take on the Workshops on the Go TYPESET KIT

The first time I seen the Workshops on the Go "Typeset Kit" I knew I had to get it. However, I was sad when I realized I needed a Cricut® that would cut 12 x 12 paper instead of my small 12 x 6 paper cutting machine.

I waited and waited for the perfect sale before I realized I would not be buying a larger Cricut® machine anytime soon. No fear! I decided to cut my pages out by hand and guess what? It worked. It took me longer, but I still was able to create these pages without the larger Cricut® machine. Don't get me wrong! I still plan on buying a larger Cricut® machine, but the price has to be right for me!

Oh I used my small Cricut® machine to cut out the small items. It was the big items that I cut out by hand.

Also, I added extra embellishments to my layouts to make it my own. I really like how my layouts turned out! Now I just need to get the perfect pictures on these layouts!
